If you would like to pay up front I'm asking for £35, which gives the last meeting as a freebee, otherwise my intention is to still charge £5 a session for casual visitors.
If you are paying by cheque then please make it payable to Paul .
The University has put up with us now for at least 10 years without mishap and I would like it to remain that way. They let us have the space for less than a quarter of what it should cost because they like us. So bear that in mind when I chase you up for money. Yes! I have to pay them money and this year it will be over £1000.
There will be a time slot to fly radio control models, which I suggest should be on the hour for 15 minutes, no freeflight models will be flown during the 15 minute R/C slot and in the spirit of indoor flying, light weight models only. If I deem the model to be inappropriate for indoor flying then it will not be flown.
NB. The tethered helicopters maybe flown all the time in the bottom end of the hall.
With the increase in interest in indoor R/C we must have some ground rules, the peg system used
for outdoor R/C maybe the route to take. Either way all R/C fliers must register their frequency at the beginning of the session.
If there are any major problems with the flying of R/C indoor models, that cannot be rectified easily, then all indoor R/C will be stopped at Christmas and the meetings will resort to free flight only.
All fliers most have the appropriate insurance
Paul
