Undercarriage sequence on Simon's Twin Thing. Uses a pager motor driving a small bolt on which a nut is screwed up and down, thus driving the u/c legs. The whole mechanism including legs and wheels etc. weighs 8g. Could be a lot lighter if you had a more straightforward movement, but you know we always like to do the most difficult things first!

Doors are pushed open by the legs coming down. They are sprung loaded so when the legs go back up they close again. |

Front leg swings down and back. Side legs swing down and sideways, and rotate so that the wheels line up fore-and-aft. |
